West Palm Beach, Fla. (July 12, 2021) — Children’s Home Society of Florida (CHS) has appointed Davicka Thompson to its statewide Board of Directors.

Thompson is Founder and CEO of Thompson Creative Collective, Inc.  She has served the children and families of the Palm Beach County community for more than 8 years with the Children’s Home Society of Florida’s local board of directors where she held leadership positions as both the president of the board and chair of the advocacy committee. Thompson also serves on the board of directors for the Cultural Council of Palm Beach County and PBC Tourism Development Council.

Thompson joins the CHS governing board dedicated to empowering children and their families to find – and pursue – opportunities for success and happiness. Through this leadership role with CHS, she will help more children and teens across Florida realize their full potential as CHS delivers innovative solutions in child welfare, early childhood, mental health counseling, mentoring, job training, youth outreach and community partnership schools.

Thompson has a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Nova Southeastern University.
