How to Create a Fundraiser on Facebook

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Log into your Facebook account on your mobile device.
  2. Navigate to the search bar in the top right corner and search for “Fundraisers”
  3. Click the plus sign in the top left corner that says “Create Fundraiser”
  4. Click “Raise Money” and select “Nonprofit”
  5. Search for “Children’s Home Society of Florida” and select the statewide Children’s Home Society of Florida page.
  6. Set your fundraising goal and end date
  7. Create a title for your fundraiser
  8. Write a brief description explaining why you chose to support CHS
  9. Add a photo or video to personalize your fundraiser
  10. Click “Create” and share it with your network
  11. To maintain engagement, consider posting updates throughout your fundraiser and thanking donors as contributions come in.

  1. Open the Instagram app, navigate to your profile (bottom right hand corner with your profile picture) click the 3 horizontal lines in the top right corner. Scroll down and click on “Fundraisers”.
  2. Click purple button that says “Create Fundraiser”
  3. Search for “Children’s Home Society of Florida” and select @helpflkids
  4. Customize your fundraiser!
  5. Write a short message explaining why this cause is important to you
  6. Don’t forget to launch your fundraiser by clicking the purple “create fundraiser” button.
  7. Once your fundraiser is live, you can share it to your stories and encourage others to support and spread the word.
