Children & Families Need Your Help!

Miguel is a bright-eyed boy with dreams of becoming a firefighter. He loves his mom and his younger sister, Sofia. But Miguel has trouble concentrating in school because he’s worried about his mom.

Maria is a single mother and works tirelessly as a cashier at a local grocery store, barely making enough to cover the essentials – rent, utilities, and food. Despite her best efforts, the bills always seem to outweigh the paycheck, leaving little room for anything else.

Miguel feels his mom’s stress and notices sometimes at dinner that mom doesn’t eat with Sofia and him. He doesn’t know there is only enough food for the kids and Maria is willing to go without so her kids don’t go to bed hungry.

The weight of responsibility weighs heavily on Maria’s shoulders. She struggles to afford basic needs, let alone provide her children with opportunities to pursue their dreams. Every day feels like a battle against the odds, a constant uphill climb with no end in sight.

But there is hope, and that hope comes in the form of donors like you!

Your support can provide families, like Miguel’s, with vital resources they need to thrive. You can be a lifeline when they need it the most.

Together, we can rewrite Maria, Miguel and Sofia’s story – creating a world where they have the opportunity to reach their full potential.
