You’ll will be matched with an adult mentor in the community. You both agree to meet at least four hours per months for a full two years.
Mentors help you prepare for the next stage in your life by providing encouragement and guidance as you:
- Work to achieve educational goals, including high school graduation
- Visit and apply to colleges
- Apply for jobs and gain employment skills
- Learn important life skills, such as budgeting, cooking and finding reliable transportation
- Learn to drive and obtain your driver license
