Kids ages 6 to 12 who live in a single-parent household in Palm Beach County.
What to expect:
Youth will be matched with a positive adult mentor who will build self-esteem, teach the importance of respecting authority and empower them achieve educational goals.
Mentors and mentees commit to spend four hours together every month for a full year.
Common activities:
- Completing homework together
- Reading together at the library
- Bowling
- Arts and crafts
- Uptown Art
- South Florida Fair
- Baseball games
- Visiting the zoo
- Touring the science museum
- Lion Country Safari
