President and Chief Executive Officer

Andry Sweet, CEO of Children’s Home Society of Florida (CHS), has over 30 years of experience in child welfare and behavioral health, specializing in system transformation for Florida’s children and families. She joined CHS in the early 2000s to advise the organization as Florida transitioned child welfare services from government to the private sector. She then led CHS’s transformation from a traditional service provider to an organization working to break generational cycles of poverty and child maltreatment.

Under her leadership, CHS has scaled Community Partnership Schools statewide and built longterm, cross-sector partnerships with universities, healthcare providers, and school districts.

Andry has also served as Chair of the Board of Children’s Home Society of America, Secretary and co-founder of Partners for Florida’s Children and co-founder of Partners for Florida’s Children and Families – an advocacy organization amplifying the voices of service providers and families—and as a member of the Florida Chamber’s Prosperity Advisory Board. She was appointed by the Secretary of the Department of Children and Families to serve as Co-Chair of the State of Florida’s Council on
Child and Family Well-being.

Andry is an alumna of the Florida Institute of Technology and the University of Central Florida. She is a graduate of Harvard Kennedy Schools Executive Education program, “Empowering Community Leaders”, 5/3 Bank scholarship recipient.
