Senior Vice President of Finance & Accounting

Amanda Funk serves as Senior Vice President of Finance and Accounting for Children’s Home Society of Florida (CHS), where she provides strategic leadership and oversight of the organization’s finance, accounting, payroll, procurement, and facilities functions. Working closely with executive leadership, Amanda helps strengthen financial systems, guide long-range planning, and support mission delivery across CHS’s statewide operations.

With more than 20 years of experience in nonprofit finance and child welfare administration, Amanda has held senior leadership roles within Florida’s Lead Agency system, supporting organizations responsible for administering child welfare services on behalf of the state. Across
her career, she has led finance teams through periods of growth and transition, supported accreditation readiness, and advanced financial practices that promote accountability, sustainability, and impact.

Amanda is known for building high-performing teams, aligning financial strategy with organizational goals, and bringing a collaborative, mission-centered approach to leadership. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Accounting.
