Letter: Bravo to allies of foster children

May is National Foster Care Month, and every year we have children in the United States who are stripped from their parents for different reasons.

I ask that we not strip them of their pride, though.

I ask that we find ways to give back to the children in our area. Whether it is giving a teddy bear to the Heartland for Children, supporting mothers at the Florida Baptist Children’s Home, or sending duffel bags to the Children’s Home Society. We have to send a message that we are our brother’s keeper.
