Orlando, Fla. – April 10, 2026 – The Children’s Home Society of Florida (CHS) Foundation has confirmed Brand Meyer as Vice Chair, bringing decades of strategic leadership and a shared commitment to expanding opportunity for children and families across the state. Meyer succeeds Charles Cromer, who recently concluded his service in the role.

A former senior executive with Wells Fargo Advisors and its predecessor firms, Meyer retired in 2020 following a distinguished 50-year career in the financial services industry. Throughout his tenure, he played a pivotal role in the company’s growth and was widely recognized as a leading industry executive. He also served on the Board and Executive Committee of the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association (SIFMA), the industry’s principal trade organization.

Meyer has been actively engaged with Children’s Home Society of Florida since 2018 as a member of its statewide board of directors. From 2023 to 2025, he stepped into the role of Board Chair, helping guide the organization’s strategic direction as it works to address the root causes of childhood poverty and strengthen families through proactive, community-based solutions.

“Children’s Home Society of Florida is doing the kind of work that truly changes lives,” said Meyer. “As I approached retirement, I felt a strong calling to give back, guided by my belief that every child deserves the chance to lead a successful and fulfilling life. That conviction led me to CHS, and I’m honored to continue supporting a mission that removes barriers, strengthens families and creates real pathways to opportunity for children across our state.”

In his new role as Vice Chair, Meyer will help grow partnerships and invest in solutions that bring communities together to support children and families, creating real, lasting change that carries forward for generations.

Meyer resides in Delray Beach, Florida, with his wife, Pam. The couple spends their summers in their hometown of Cleveland, Ohio.
