Daytona Beach, Fla. (May 10, 2016) – Bank of America representatives presented a $5,000 grant donation to Children’s Home Society of Florida (CHS) on May 7 during the organization’s annual foster care picnic. Funds will benefit the organization’s TechSuccess program, an initiative providing technology access and education to Volusia, Flagler and Putnam counties’ most vulnerable children and teens.

Aside from the donation of funds, Bank of America staff volunteered during the picnic. Attended by more than 200 foster families, the event included a dunk tank, bounce house, water slide, water obstacle course, face-painting and kickball and football games.

“We are appreciative of Bank of America’s donation and thankful for the organization’s constant support,” said Kimberly Pleasants, executive director of Children’s Home Society of Florida. “With these funds, our TechSuccess program will share valuable and necessary technology skills with those who may not have had access before.”
