Miami, Fla.–Children’s Home Society of Florida (CHS) will present its distinguished Woman of Valor Award to its Board Chair, Danielle N. Garno, during its annual Helping Turn Lives Around luncheon on May 19 at Jungle Island Treetop Ballroom in Miami. She will be recognized for her leadership, commitment and service to the child-serving organization.

Garno has been a friend of CHS since 2012 as a member of the board, where she has served as board chair for the past two years. In her role, she expanded support of division events, advocated on behalf of children served, and recruited community leaders to actively play a role in the mission of CHS.

“Danielle is a caring advocate for Miami’s most vulnerable children. Her unwavering dedication has enabled our organization to serve more children in our community” said Maggie Dante, executive director of Children’s Home Society of Florida. “I am honored to present her our Woman of Valor award and look forward to our continued partnership.”

Garno is a Litigation Shareholder with Greenberg Traurig Miami.

Reserved for only the most dedicated child advocates, the Woman of Valor Award honors individuals who have made an exceptional contribution toward the well-being of Miami-Dade’s most vulnerable children and family members.
