Helping children and families in Palm Beach County find immediate safety and help when it is needed.

At Safe Harbor, youth who are in the midst of a crisis find immediate safety, counseling and basic necessities. During your temporary stay with CHS, we also work with your families to access support, therapy and other local resources that can help you address the crises you have experienced.

What to expect?

Open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, Safe Harbor is temporary residential facility offering safety, shelter, food and structures activities in a warm, home-like atmosphere.

  • During a stay at the shelter, you will:
    • Engage in daily activities designed to build life skills
    • Attend school
    • Work to address crises with the goal of reunifying with your family
