Every hour, another Florida teen has a baby

It’s time to start talking to your teen about preventing pregnancy.

Through our Teen Life Choices program, we work closely with youth along the Treasure Coast to encourage abstinence as the best – and only surefire – way to prevent pregnancy.

Who qualifies?

Students in St. Lucie County

What to expect

Through a life-like doll programmed to act like a baby, teens experience what it’s like to:

  • Be the sole provider for an infant
  • Wake up at 2 a.m. for feedings, diaper changes and colic
  • Devote each day to caring for a baby first and self second

For most students, it’s a wake-up call. The program has experienced tremendous success in preventing teen pregnancy.
