Our transitional living and independent living programs open doors to help youth in foster care and young adults exiting foster care pursue meaningful, productive futures as they realize their full potential.
What to expect
You’ll receive support and guidance as you learn valuable life skills to prepare for a successful future.
Working with our dedicated professionals, you’ll receive guidance on:
Finding safe, stable housing
Developing life skills (budgeting, house cleaning, cooking, securing transportation)
Planning for your education
Young adults who participate in transitional living will also receive safe, stable housing as they prepare for their future.
With apartment-style facilities, you’ll share a kitchen, living area and dining room with other young adults in the program.
Youth in foster care ages 13 to 23 may participate in independent living. Youth and young adults ages 18 to 23 who have recently exited foster care and/or are on the verge of homelessness may participate in transitional living.
