St. Petersburg, Fla. (June 29, 2021) — Children’s Home Society of Florida (CHS) has appointed Dr. Kristie Wallace, PHARMD to its statewide Board of Directors.

Wallace is a St. Petersburg resident and licensed pharmacist and Medical Science Liaison in the pharmaceutical industry where she serves as a leader in building relationships to improve patient care and advocacy. Prior to her current role, Wallace directed pharmacy operations for Encompass Health and HCA Edward White Hospital.

Wallace joins the CHS governing board dedicated to empowering children and their families to find – and pursue – opportunities for success and happiness. Through this leadership role with CHS, she will help more children and teens across Florida realize their full potential as CHS delivers innovative solutions in child welfare, early childhood, mental health counseling, mentoring, job training, youth outreach and community partnership schools.

Wallace also serves on the board of directors for the Southwest Society of Health Systems pharmacists, the Delta Mu Delta Business Honor Society and the BPOE Elks Lodge #1224. Wallace is a graduate of the University of Florida.
