Uncork futures for children and families
in Central Florida

Uncorked for a Cause invites our community to come together for an unforgettable evening of wine, food, and philanthropy with one powerful goal: to create lasting impact by empowering children, preserving families, and building brighter futures across Central Florida.

Held at the beautiful Winter Park Event Center, on February 4, 2026Uncorked for a Cause will feature:

  • A guided wine tasting and pairing experience with renowned Master Sommelier George Miliotes
  • A silent and live auction
  • An inspiring, mission-driven program that puts the focus on the children and families we serve

Why You Should Attend

  • Your gift transforms the trajectory of a child’s life by providing the support, resources, and opportunities they need to overcome barriers and discover their unique potential. Ordinary spaces become extraordinary “home hubs” where children feel safe, supported, and connected to opportunity regardless of their circumstances.
  • We collaborate with partners to identify exactly where resources are most needed, ensuring your gift creates maximum impact for children in Florida’s highest-need communities. We proactively focus resources in Florida’s 150 highest-need ZIP codes, where over 50% of children in poverty live – maximizing your giving impact where transformation is most needed.
  • Our Community Partnership Schools have already demonstrated an $800 million economic impact for Florida, with data showing transformative outcomes including 30% higher graduation rates and 46% reduced child welfare involvement.

We’re so grateful for your support and hope you’ll join us as we uncork new opportunities for those who need us most.

About CHS

Every child deserves the chance to dream big — to feel safe, supported, and surrounded by opportunity, no matter their ZIP code or circumstances. At Children’s Home Society of Florida, this belief fuels our mission to build strong foundations that empower children and families.

For over 120 years, we’ve evolved from focusing primarily on foster care and adoption to addressing the root causes that put families at risk in the first place. Today, we’re leading through our groundbreaking Community Impact Model — a cradle-to-career approach that aligns resources and expands access to opportunity across entire communities. One powerful example of this model in action is our Community Partnership Schools, which are complemented by a rich ecosystem of early childhood programs, behavioral health services, and family resource centers.

No solution is one size fits all. We work alongside communities to understand local needs, implement what works, and share best practices across regions. The result? Nurturing environments where every child and family has access to the opportunities they need to realize their dreams.

Because when we reimagine what “home” means, we create the foundation for every child, every dream, every future.

About Community Partnership Schools

Thousands of local students arrive to school each day with more than a backpack – they carry baggage beyond their years: hunger, homelessness, poverty, exposure to violence, mental health struggles, inadequate access to health care and more. They carry so much weight that they simply cannot focus on their education.

The Community Partnership Schools™ model, founded by Children’s Home Society of Florida, UCF and Orange County Public Schools, takes a whole-child approach to addressing these challenges by supporting students’ educational and life success.

Through a long-term partnership with the school district, a college or university, and a health care provider, CHS leads community collaboration to bring resources and opportunities to students and families. By addressing barriers to learning —poverty, food insecurity, homelessness and others – Community Partnership Schools bring together high-quality academic supports, health care, counseling, mentoring and more – right at the school.
