Adoption is a beautiful journey … but it can also be accompanied by some bumps and unexpected twists and turns. Through the Helen & Tom Ervin Adoption Endowment, children who have been welcomed into their families through adoption from the foster care system will receive ongoing support and services to help them through some of the unique challenges that can come with the journey.

For more than five decades, Helen Ervin has worked to improve the lives of children through adoption and post-adoption supports. Since the late 1960s, Helen has been a part of the Children’s Home Society of Florida family.

Though officially retired, Helen’s work continues as her passion fuels her dedication to serve children and families throughout the community.

The Helen & Tom Ervin Endowment celebrates their passion and honors their lasting impact on children who have been adopted.

Thanks to a generous gift from  Vicki Weber and David Powell, all donations to the Helen & Tom Ervin Adoptions Endowment will be matched up to $50,000.
