Children's Home Society of Florida names Kathleen Walsh executive director

Tampa, Fla (Feb.7, 2014)— Children's Home Society of Florida has named Kathleen “Kitty” Walsh executive director of the Gulf Coast Division, which serves more than 1,500 children and families in the Tampa Bay area annually.

Prior to joining Children's Home Society of Florida, Walsh was executive director of Consulate Health Care of New Port Richey. Walsh also served as an independent operations consultant for several organizations, focusing on regulatory compliance, fiscal management and improving client satisfaction.  She has more than 20 years experience as a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator and was responsible for opening an assisted living and outpatient rehabilitation center in the Tampa Bay area.

“Kitty’s breadth of experience will be instrumental as we continue to deliver exceptional service to children and families in Tampa Bay,” said Stephen Bardy, vice president of operations for Children's Home Society of Florida.”

Walsh received her Master of Business Administration from Saint Leo University and a Bachelor of Science from the University of South Florida.
