For more than a century, CHS has been a leader in providing critical services to children and families in Florida. But we can’t do it alone. Generous financial support enables us to provide crucial services to those who, without CHS and its partners, may not have a fighting chance. Together, we can help Florida’s children become safe, healthy and prepared for life. Here are just a few ways your dollars change lives:
- $45 provides wholesome meals for an entire week for a once-neglected or abandoned child
- $148 shelters and offers healing care to an abused child for one day
- $1,416 guides a teen for one full year toward safe, healthy independence
- $2,665 provides one year of one-on-one mentoring, guidance and friendship for a youth who has an incarcerated parent
- $5,087 nurtures healthy family interaction for an entire family for one year
- $15,100 places a child into a loving forever family through adoption
