Serving the Big Bend Region
The North Central Division of Children's Home Society of Florida opened its Tallahassee office in 1964. The division covers including Franklin, Gadsden, Jefferson, Leon, Liberty and Wakulla counties.
For more than 40 years, CHS' North Central Divison, a United Way Agency, has served the Big Bend Area with programs to protect children through preserving and strengthening families. During the past year, more than 4,400 local children and families received services from one or more of our many programs. North Central Division began by offering Adoption Services and has since expanded its programs to include Child Protection, Early Intervention, Family Preservation, Family Connection and Tree House. Each program is designed with the mission to provide effective solutions to build and support healthy families for Florida's children.
